Only mistake was going on a hot sunny day. Hangers are a very warm place to hang out. A nice collection of crafts with an interesting collection of local history. Definitely kid friendly as a lot of cockpit switching has been significantly used.
We went to the airshow last September. Loads of history and interesting exhibits. People couldn't have been nicer.
A good piece of history in South Jersey, being the airfield was one of several, including the base at Milleville that were constructed for the war effort in WW2. Plenty of aircraft from ww2 to the present to see.As a sidenote, there is a Viet Nam museum across the street with a nice array of items from that war on display.Enjoy
So, so glad we visited here! My daughter is 15 months old, only been walking a few weeks. I heard the place was kid-friendly but with a real little toddler, you never really know. We were very, very pleased with this place, even for her age. There was lots to do and see. We could've spent hours there, easily. The exhibits are so awesome. Many touchable exhibits also. Excellent 9/11 exibit and tribute to military veterans. Would definitely come back again. Highly recommend for everyone.
Cool experience at the Wildwood Naval Air station.
Very nice museum. Interactive exhibits for my 4 yr old son. Historical exhibits for my 60+ yr old father. They also keep it well ventilated, plenty of fans made it feel cool on the hot day we went.
